Challenge
Superwinch faced the challenge of finding a high-performance scrubber that was easy to manoeuvre and could move smoothly through narrow warehouse aisles. The scrubber it had been using left surfaces wet and slippery, was awkward to maintain and had to be reversed out whenever an aisle was blocked.
Solution
To address the problem, we selected the battery-powered Tennant T16 ride-on scrubber, which performed exceptionally well in tight spaces.
The innovative ec-H2O technology electrically converts water into an effective, chemical-free cleaning solution, delivering effective cleaning, cost savings, safety improvements and a lower environmental impact than traditional chemical cleaning methods.
Results
"The tight turning radius of the T16 scrubber is a real blessing. Now, instead of backing out when an aisle is blocked by pallets, I can turn easily", said Roman Giebultowski, Maintenance Manager. And because the Superwinch facility is ISO 14001 certified, choosing an environmentally responsible scrubber was essential. "By no longer using 40 litres of chemicals a week to clean the floors, we save roughly USD 10,000 to USD 15,000 a year".
